Ludovico Einaudi and his compositions from the "Divernire" album will take us to the mountains musically. Thanks to the pictorial music performed by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Christian Schumann and the pianist Zuzanna Całka, we will see Alpine landscapes painted with sounds.
Einaudi's minimalist and cinematic work
The work of a contemporary Italian composer and pianist Ludovic Einaudi belongs to the genre of minimalist music. The composer composes piano pieces most often, but he also reaches for other instruments from time to time.

At the beginning of his career, Ludovico Einaudi composed only classical music. Still, with time elements of folk, pop and rock started to appear, which greatly influenced the popularity of his work. "My compositions are certainly derived from the classics, but many types of music influence them. The music I have experienced in my life, from African music to folk and rock," says the composer about his music.

Many famous and award-winning films began to feature his works i.a. "The Untouchables", "Joaquin Phoenix. I am what I am "," Mama ", "J. Edgar", "The Source of Hope", "The Black Swan", "This Is England", and many more. Einaudi also composed music for the famous miniseries. "Doctor Zhivago".

Alpine Landscapes for piano and orchestra

"Divernire" – the composer's seventh studio album will be heard on September 25 during the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival – is a coherent and exciting music, described by many as the best of the entire minimalist movement.

Ludovico Einaudi's works were inspired by paintings by the 19th-century Swiss artist Giovanni Segantini, depicting the mountain scenery of Soglio. The title composition "Divernire" had its premiere in the Dolomites, against the backdrop of the Pale di San Martino mountain range.

You can write big and long entries about Ludovico Einaudi, but no words can convey the magic of his music. In the golden hall (as well as online!), "Divenire" will sound in all its glory. Zuzanna Całka – an award-winning Warsaw pianist and composer – and musicians from our Orchestra will take us into this extraordinary world. Christian Schumann – a modern, extremely charismatic conductor with many faces, who successfully performs great symphonic music, opera as well as contemporary and film music -will take on the role of the host.

We invite you on September 25 at 19:00 for the Einaudi | concert Divenire. You will be able to see the concert at the Philharmonic or online (details soon).

Tickets at the price of PLN 25-55 can be purchased at filharmonia.szczecin.pl. Tickets for online transmission at the price of PLN 10/20 will be available from September 1.
